Role Outline

We are looking to recruit a full-time Digital Content Executive. The role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the content strategy for one of the world’s most famous stages, and will be vital in developing, engaging and continually diversifying global audiences of the Royal Albert Hall. This role is focused on digital content management and curation.

For 150 years the Royal Albert Hall has been inspiring artists and audiences worldwide; creating life-enriching, unforgettable experiences for everyone. Over 2021-2022 we are celebrating our 150th anniversary with a number of special events and we will shine a light on our past, present and future through our communications strategy.

In an average year, the Hall hosts 400 events in the main auditorium and around 1000 in other smaller spaces. The Hall stands true to its original purpose of promoting the Arts and Sciences, and as a charity we are dedicated to maintaining our Grade I listed building and giving access to all.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Content Executive will need excellent ideas for content curation, be a highly-skilled copywriter and possess strong creative flair, as well as having demonstrable experience of working in a fast-paced creative environment. The ideal candidates would be confident users of CMS systems, social media channels and their analytical tools. In addition, candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and impeccable attention to detail.

The Digital Content Executive would also be responsible for working across the Hall (especially the Marketing, Box Office and Philanthropy teams) to advise on tone of voice and best practice, acting as brand gatekeeper for the Hall.

Previous experience of working within a Marketing role in the arts and entertainment, leisure or charity sector is desirable. Candidates should also have an interest in music and/or the performing arts and a passion for the Royal Albert Hall.
