Role Outline

The Royal Albert Hall is recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Technical Production Manager to join our Production and Technical department.

Our Production and Technical team consists of Event Managers, Audio Project Managers, Lighting, Audio, Rigging and Stage Technicians, as well as Technical Production Managers; all of which support our events across both the Auditorium and Beyond the Main Stage (BTMS and E). The main duties of this role as Technical Production Manager (BTMS and E) will be to provide dedicated support of the technical delivery of the events in our BTMS programme alongside our team of Event Managers and Producers. This would include the technical advancing of Audio, Lighting, Video and Staging logistics around our BTMS spaces, as well as programming, troubleshooting and operating as required.

Ideally, you will have a multi-disciplined technical background, or bias in either Lighting or Audio, with experience in delivering and managing venue load in’s, set up, and load outs in a smaller capacity space. We’re looking for someone who can manage production technicians calmly and safely, as well as the ability to compile and distribute advancing documentation concisely. You should also be able to demonstrate confidence in artist and client liaison, equipment specification and management of the execution of the event, all whilst maintaining focus and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
