The Royal Albert Hall is the world’s most famous stage and an inspiring and energising place to work. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our HR team, in which they will gain valuable HR administration experience to start their career in HR.

Our small and dedicated in-house HR team provides a professional service to all the other Hall departments, and our apprentice will be a key member of the team! Key elements of the job will involve supporting the department by answering customer queries via phone and email, using various HR IT systems in relation to attendance and personnel records, maintaining electronic and paper personnel files, organising the Hall-wide induction, assisting with training administration and new joiner paperwork and much more!

An Apprenticeship is a job coupled with a programme of skills development designed by employers. This means that the apprentice can gain technical knowledge and real practical experience, along with the functional and personal skills that are required for their current and future job roles. This is accomplished by a mix of workplace learning, formal training and the opportunity to practise and embed new skills in a real working context.

In this particular role, you will be working towards a BTEC Diploma in Business Administration Level 3, studying and demonstrating the skills you have learned in conjunction with your hands-on work at the Hall.  You will be supported by an external training provider (Ginger Nut training), as well as the internal HR team to ensure the successful delivery of your apprenticeship. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn and learn, practice and enhance your HR administration skills and prepare you for a future in HR.

A genuine interest in gaining experience in an office environment and a desire to learn is essential. The ideal candidate will have GCSEs (ideally grade A-C, 9-5) in English, Maths and ICT. Please note that there will be a requirement to achieve Level 2 in English and Maths if GCSEs are not held at the stated grades. Eligibility to work in the UK is essential, and those who hold a qualification similar to Business Administration at Level 3 or higher are not eligible to apply.
